Dear Supporter,
It just keeps happening.
In the wake of the historic health care vote, we witnessed a rash of disturbing threats and violent rhetoric. Months later, the FBI is reporting record threats against lawmakers [1], pundits like Glenn Beck continue to compare social justice groups to Nazis [2] and Tea Party protestors keep showing up with hateful signs. [3]
Send us your bumper sticker slogan idea and help us stand up to hate and fear!
Here at Faithful America, we are tired of this small group of extremists hijacking our political debates - so we're launching a summer campaign to stand up for our values and throwing everything we've got into it - fact checks, rapid response, and maybe even a little humor.
Together this summer, we'll stand up for our values. We'll contact legislators and the media, fire up our rapid response center when members alert us to noteworthy incidents, and distribute fact checks to stop hateful rumors in their tracks.
We've got big plans, but we need your input! We'll send everybody who joins our "Summer to Simmer Down" campaign a bumper sticker - but first we need YOU to help us write the slogan!

Faithful America will send the winning sticker to everyone who joins our summer campaign to stand up for our values. The sticker will be a tangible reminder during the summer vacation season of our commitment to "drive" out the fear, hate and violence and stand up for our values when the Tea Party protesters or political pundits hijack the conversation.
We're looking for a slogan that reflects our values and our community, creative, smart, engaged passionate. Make it funny, make it serious (but do make it short - bumpers stickers are small!). Help show what we're for, or speak out about what we're against.
Next week, we'll pick our five favorite ideas and ask the Faithful America community to vote for the winner! The sticker with the most votes will appear on the bumpers of thousands of Faithful America members across the country!
