Brady is proposing catastrophic cuts to schools, police departments, and services that will impact every Illinoisan. Under Brady's plan, homeowners would see skyrocketing property taxes. And even after all that, this nightmare plan would still leave an $8 billion hole. But, just as magic beans can't actually grow into a beanstalk that reaches the sky, Brady's sound-bite, 'quick fixes' can't eliminate a $12.9 billion deficit created over a decade and compounded by a national recession.
