Home for the holidays

All families deserve to be together for the holidays!

Our broken immigration system divides families and creates fear in our communities.

Dear Supporter,

Two weeks from today, fridges full of Thanksgiving leftovers will mark the (unofficial) beginning of the holiday season.

While many of us will be busy making plans to go "home for the holidays," thousands of immigrant families will be kept apart by our broken immigration system, adding pain to a season that should be about celebration, prayer and family.

All families deserve to be together for the holidays.

Sign our holiday e-card and tell Congress to put immigrant families back together!

Comprehensive immigration reform will ease the administrative backlog that keeps immigrants-- even US Citizens -- waiting months, years, even decades, to be reunited with their parents, children and siblings. [1]

This deep strain on family life is only one of the many symptoms of our broken immigration system. President Obama and leaders in Congress have promised to work together to find a just and humane solution, but to get anything accomplished our leaders need to know they have our support.

Sign our holiday card: tell Congress to support comprehensive immigration reform and keep families together!

Across our faith traditions, our holiday stories share the theme of hope and light breaking in through fear and darkness.

This holiday season, we can help bring hope to millions of our immigrant neighbors. Click here to let Congress know: no family should be apart for the holidays.

Thanks for all you do,

Beth, Katie, Dan, Kristin and Jennifer
